Located in Trablus, Libya, the Beach Pergola project (2024) is a coastal dining destination that blends traditional Mediterranean aesthetics with modern functional design.
Architectural Design & Structure
Mediterranean Silhouette: The central structure features a classic hipped roof with red terracotta tiles, supported by sturdy, minimalist white columns.
Open-Air Concept: Designed for a seamless seaside experience, the pergola is entirely open on all sides, providing panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea and maximizing natural ventilation.
Elevated Platform: The dining area is set upon a raised masonry base finished with brick accents, defined by a sleek, wraparound metal safety railing.
Interior & Hospitality Features
Central Bar Hub: At the heart of the pergola is a rectangular, brick-clad service bar with a dark countertop and professional bar seating, acting as the focal point for guest interaction.
Vibrant Palette: The seating area utilizes warm, terracotta-orange upholstered chairs that echo the roof tiles, paired with clean white square tables to create a high-contrast, inviting atmosphere.
Modern Lighting: The ceiling is detailed with dark wood slats and equipped with sculptural, multi-arm minimalist light fixtures that provide a contemporary touch during sunset and evening hours.
Site & Atmosphere
Coastal Integration: Situated directly on the white sands of a palm-lined beach, the design incorporates a clean, concrete walkway for easy access from the shore.
Sunset Vistas: The orientation and open-frame design are specifically tailored to capture coastal views, from daytime sailing activities to serene evening sunsets.
Our headquarters reflects our philosophy: transparency, structure, and connection with the environment.
